On a recent weekend we ventured over to Northeast Minneapolis for an early dinner to The Anchor Fish & Chips. I wanted to get there a little early to avoid the dinner rush and we were pleasantly surprised by a parking spot right in front. We also got the last available table inside, our timing was impeccable.
We had been there once before and we both had their fabulous fish and chips. This time I wanted to try their Shepherd’s Pie and it was equally fabulous. It’s not very far from us and we’ve decided we should go there more often. Just a few snapshots of our great dinner:
I had a couple of sips of hubby’s Guinness, yum….
He had the fish & chips, I had Shepherd’s Pie….yum…..
It was a nice enough day to sit outside and their little patio was filled when we arrived. This is the next group of eaters. If you’re in the area of Broadway and University NE and you’re in the mood for fish & chips, stop by Anchor. You won’t regret it.
