Such an interesting theme this week! I decided to not focus on one particular day, rather a typical day and a couple from recent days. My cats are a source of joy every day so naturally they had to be part of this. I just came back from visiting my mother in southern Florida. My sister and I met there and spent a long weekend to celebrate Mom’s 90th birthday. Since neither of us could be there next month for her actual birthday, we celebrated now. We had so much fun!! Laughing and cooking and eating and playing flute duets. Here’s my gallery of photos from a particular day in the past month or so.

Plus I’m at a point in my life where things change a lot very quickly – who knows when or where I’m moving next? I’d feel awful having to give a cat away or pop it on an airplane to move, so it’s no kitties for me right now. :(
I was awfully close to adopting a gigantic furry cat the other week though! :) I had to remind myself repeatedly what a bad idea it was haha.
ah, well that makes sense then. maybe some day down the road you can have cats again. :)

Glad you had fun with mom and sis. That is what it is all about. I hope I can have a 90th birthday and have my children there. We have two dogs and a cat, but the cat is my favorite. He head butts you when he wants to be petted.
