    Reblogged this on The ObamaCrat™.

  2. I have to stand on their tail feathers to keep them in place long enough to take the shot, Tobyo! (not really, but maybe that’s why I have no bird photos :( )

  3. Wonderful entry …. birds, they never sit still long enough for me to get a shot of them – except my swan family … I should join the challenge. How peaceful that goose family is .. on the road. Great captures all of them.

  4. All lovely birds, Toby. I love the egret especially. They are so graceful. :-)

    • thank you! that egret lived in the pond all last spring and summer but sadly it did not return this year so I’m glad I took the opportunity to photograph him/her at the time.

The first photo is poetic and the third is a cool shot! Love the goose family :)

    • thanks! the geese are so abundant in my neighborhood! one day as I was coming home I saw a line of about 9 of them waddling very quickly down the street. I couldn’t get my camera out fast enough. perhaps I’ll get another try this spring/summer.
