CBBH Photo Challenge – Pink

Oooooooooooooooo!! I have lots of pink in photos!! So I’m excited to put this post together for this month’s CBBH photo challenge.  I’m starting with a recent photo that I absolutely love.  There is a debate as to whether this is a hollyhock or a hibiscus flower.  But one thing everyone agrees on is that this bloom is beautiful:

That photo above looks best on its own but here’s a gallery of some of my favorite pinks:

The other part of this challenge is to include links to two blogs that I’ve visited and commented on in the last month.  I think redstuffdan followed me and that’s how I found his site.  So far, I’ve really enjoyed his photos. Go have a look, I bet you’ll like it too.

This is one of my latest follows as well, the colonialist looks like another fun one, full of interesting posts!

Enjoy!

      1. I had to refresh my memory of where NVCC is(googled) and I cannot remember where I took classes. ‘course that was over 20 years ago now. oh boy….glad it was a good week!

      2. I saw that but for the life of me I cannot recall which campus I went to. maddening! might have been the Loudoun campus. I looked at photos and nothing looked familiar there or at Annandale. my first job in VA was in Annandale, just off of Little River Turnpike :) Then the company moved to Chantilly.

  1. What gorgeous blooms, Toby – I especially love pink (and purple) flowers – they are my favourites :)

I used to have some of the little pink bleeding hearts in my garden back in the UK – I haven’t seen any for a while, so thanks for the reminder.

I’ve just visited both of the links you shared and I congratulate you on your choice. Enjoyed them both, thanks :)

    1. I wonder if I found the colonialist through you? I cannot recall. Or maybe it was a suggested blog in my reader? But yes, agreed, a lot of fun :)Thanks for stopping by!
