CBBH Photo Challenge – Pink

Oooooooooooooooo!! I have lots of pink in photos!! So I’m excited to put this post together for this month’s CBBH photo challenge.  I’m starting with a recent photo that I absolutely love.  There is a debate as to whether this is a hollyhock or a hibiscus flower.  But one thing everyone agrees on is that this bloom is beautiful:

That photo above looks best on its own but here’s a gallery of some of my favorite pinks:

The other part of this challenge is to include links to two blogs that I’ve visited and commented on in the last month.  I think redstuffdan followed me and that’s how I found his site.  So far, I’ve really enjoyed his photos. Go have a look, I bet you’ll like it too.

This is one of my latest follows as well, the colonialist looks like another fun one, full of interesting posts!

Enjoy!

  1. Beautiful blooms, and thanks for the follow and mention!

  2. Beautiful pinks, Toby. I especially love the bleeding hearts and queen of the prairie. :-)

  3. Yes you do, and very pretty they are too. I’d best go meet Dan and Col. :)

  4. What gorgeous blooms, Toby – I especially love pink (and purple) flowers – they are my favourites :)

I used to have some of the little pink bleeding hearts in my garden back in the UK – I haven’t seen any for a while, so thanks for the reminder.

I’ve just visited both of the links you shared and I congratulate you on your choice. Enjoyed them both, thanks :)

  5. Pretty in pink. Where is Molly Ringwald when you need her. Very lovely.

These are just gorgeous! Thanks for sharing. :D

  7. Beautiful pink pics, Toby. I so agree with you about Col. He is friend of mine in Durban, and is a lot of fun. :)

    • I wonder if I found the colonialist through you? I cannot recall. Or maybe it was a suggested blog in my reader? But yes, agreed, a lot of fun :)Thanks for stopping by!
